    OBITUARIES STAFFIE TANDESKI

    Staffie Tandeski, 85, 424 S. Ninth St., died Friday, Jan. 17, 1992. Good Samaritan Nursing Center East Grand Forks.

    Staffie Ebertowski was born Dec. 2, 1906, win Walsh County, N.D., the daughter of Joseph and Martha Ebertowski. She married Max Tandeski Nov. 25, 1931, in Warsaw, N.D. They farmed in Walsh County until moving to Grand Forks in 1951. She worked at the Dacotah Hotel and the UND Rehabilitation Hospital until her retirement in 1971. She worked part-time at the hospital until 1989. Max Tandeski died Nov. 27, 1988.
    Survivors are her sons, Harry, Jerome and Raphael, all of Grand Forks, Hilary and Leonard, both of Mekinock, N.D., daughters, Maxine (Mrs. Ray) Skoczylas, Long Beach, Calif, Audrey (Mrs. Roland) Beaudry, Lakewood, Calif., Mary Ann (Mrs. Tim) O'Keefe, Jacksonville, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Theodore, Warsaw, and sisters, Helen Gornowicz, and Joanne Slominski, both of Warsaw, Martha Prezybylski, Argyle, Minn., Audrey Kasprick, Thief River Falls, Mary Ann Sevigny, Grafton, N.D., Isabelle Juhl, Long Beach, Calif., Evelyn Marshall, Lakewood, Calif., and Natalie Huebner, Upland, Calif.

    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Adeline: two sisters and six brothers.

    Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church.

    Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service Grand Forks Norman Funeral Home
