Had difficulty finding added data on Spurgeon. Not mentioned with 1900 Indian Census. Do not rely heavily on this person's data here. Who was the child called Arthur Braught who was killed at Fairland, OK (The History of Ottawa County, OK by Velma Nieberding, 1983 on pg. 15 in article on cyclone in Fairland killing Mrs. Mary Lamar, Mrs. John Lemaster, Arthur Braught, Curtis Houk, and a baby on 24 April 1904)? He would have been age 12. This Arthur should be listed in some 1900 Census, and not in 1910 Census. Jan Lund Jul 97 data gives his birth and death dates as one in the same (died in birth, apparently), used here. Could this be Spurgeon by another common name? Spurgeon was buried at Hickory Grove Cem. Fairland, OK. I did not have time when there to look for this grave or other records on him. Again, use caution in any of my data on this person.
