Ruth Grout Braught said that Byron had no middle name but added middle initial C. to keep folks from asking to insert a middle initial on forms, etc. 1900 Indian Census lists him born April 1899, age 1, son of Cloid and Synthia Braught. Death date and location of Cynthia were confirmed by SocSec data. I found a few records spelling her first name with S, rather than C. Ruth Grout advised me that Byron's second wife's name was Prentice --- (last name unrecalled) and they were married at Ponca City [correction: Louisiana] when Wayne was already an adult.

Byron C. should have WWI Draft Registration information..
