Included in household are daughter Sarah, age 20, son, Henry, age 16, daughter, Matilda, age 14, and son, Francis M., age 12. Occupation noted as farmer. Value of real estate, $1200. Indicated could not read or write. Spencer settled in Bristle Ridge, Johnson Co., MO. Birthdate given as abt. 1784 by Guy Lawrence Adams. Spencer and Peggy had 10 children. Eight children recorded by S. Verley with a footnote there may be two other children, Polly and Nancy. She shows a source of information as J. Ferguson, 1140 Bridgeport, Escondido, CA (2/25/75). Effie Fitzgerald's Journal says Spencer born June 10, 1790.
