Either "Richard" is a transcription error or there were two different Sophias, daughters of two different Eunice Wilsons, living in the vicinity around the same time.

There is a Richard Wilson recorded in Genesee County in 1850, living with Michael and Jane Wilson, however it is not likely he was the father of Sophia Wilson since he does not appear in the area earlier when she was born.
