Sudden Death near Cedar Party Creek.
Oh Sunday night Mrs, Edward Potts, on returning
with her husband from a visit to Mr. Thomas Ford
residence, became suddenly ill, and had to rest by the
way several times before she reached home. She was
not quite recovered when she did reach home, and
sat down with a book, but in a short time she got
worse, and suddenly expired. A magisterial inquiry
was held on Monday afternoon by Mr, A. Gates,
P.M., when after hearing the evidence of Edward
Potts, Thomas Ford, and Dr. Kelly, the coroner
found that deceased succumbed to an attack of
syncope.
The late Mrs. Potts had been a sufferer for the
past six years from heart disease, and for some time
was under the treatment of Dr. Kelly.
