SOPHIA gave this compiler a picture of her ancestor (Louise Tobrocke - sister of JFW Tobrocke) taken before 1891. This picture was shared back and fourth between Schepmann relatives in Indiana and Kansas, via annual railroad visits for many years. In circa 2004 Dwayne Meyer of Milpitas, California, discovered that I had this picture, and told me the story behind it. I had been corresponding with one of the Kansas descendants, who now lived in Denver, Colorado. During a 2004 Colorado visit to her home, I personally delivered the long missing picture to the Kansas branch.
