↑ The date 1805 that is literally on the gravestone is before the parents' marriage. The gravestone includes Esther's sister Julia Woodward (not another child of N. & E. Hastings as suggested by Find A Grave) and was clearly erected no earlier than 1812, possibly by Esther's parents? So the 1805 date is suspect, and 1806 has been used.
