Descendants of William Story Who Came to Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1637, p. 27 says administration was granted on the estate of Solomon Story "22 Mar 1731 or 22 May 1731 in Norwich CT". In 1731, probates for Norwich were handled in the New London probate district and no record of this has been located. Son Amos was baptized to "Solomon and Mary" [i.e., the father not labelled as deceased] in Ipswich 12 Sep 1731 (Chebacco Parish Church). There is also a Ruth Story, d. Solomon, baptized in Manchester VRs in 1733/34 (p. 115) and no sign of any other Solomon to be the father.
