    CLIFTON, Solomon J., age 82, of 1219 Northwest Road, passed away at a local hospital, Tuesday, June 6 (1950), following a short illness. Mr. Clifton was born in Illinois. He had been a resident of the North Bellingham community for the past 50 years. Surviving relatives include three daughters, Mrs. Vada Kelsey, of Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Esther Durdle, of Monmouth, Ore., and Mrs. Gladys Graham, of Renton, Wash., a son, Will Clifton, of Everett; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Saturday, June 10, at 11 a. m. at the Monroe Mortuary in Ferndale. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
