DEATH OF SOLOMON AUKERMAN - Old Resident Sucumbs at last to Paralysis, Aged Eighty two.
Solomon Aukerman was born in Preble County, Ohio Oct 23, 1814, and was married to Elizabeth Crumrine in Darke County, Ohio June 5, 1840. To this union were born twelve children, nine sons and three daughters, six of whom survive, four sons and two daughters, and now the wife and children are left to mourn the loss of this dear husband and father.
On February 26, 1869, when the youngest child was seven years of age, they moved to Wabash county and have been residents of this county ever since. On the evening of Oct. 17, he had a stroke of paralysis which caused his death on November 3 (1896).
Children: Fredrick, John, Aaron, Jonas C, Mary, Elijah Lynch, Noah Franklin, Harvey, Emmaline, Elizabeth, and Jonathan.
