Simon served as a Private in Capt. John Jones' Company of Loyal Rangers stationed at Riviere du Chene, Quebec, Canada. As of January 1, 1783 he was age 27 and had served 8 mos.[1] By 1788 he is listed as a tavern keeper in Half Moon Twp., which is now the village of Clifton Park, Saratoga Co., New York. In Saratoga Co. in 1800 and 1810. In 1820 and 1830 he is in Onondaga Co. and probably had died by 1840.[2]
