SIMON E. THOMAS
Simon Edgar Thomas, 56 years old, died Sunday at his home in Fairmont, Irwin. He was born March 1, 1890, a son of William and Emma Ralph Thomas. Mr. Thomas was an employee of the Westinghouse Airbrake company at Wilmerding. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Loughner Thomas; two sons, Earl R. of Uniontown, and William, of Elyria, O., and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hutchins, of East McKeesport. Two brothers, George and William Thomas, both of Irwin, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pringle, of North Irwin, and Mrs. M. B. Callahan, of Pittsburgh also survive. Friends will be received at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hutchins, of 1208 McClure avenue, East McKeesport, where services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. U. G. Hoffman, pastor of the Irwin Baptist Church. Interment will be in Irwin Union cemetery.
