23 Jan 1706-7: Simon Beaman of Deerfield sells to brother Benjamin all interest in his deceased father's lands [shows he belongs in family]. Inscription [note: found in Source:Bridgman, Thomas. Inscriptions on the Grave Stones in the Grave Yards of Northampton and of Other Towns in the Valley of the Connecticut, as, p. 181, gives death date as 1701/2, but will dated 16 Feb 1711-2, proved 5 Mar 1711-2, shows correct death year. Will names wife Hannah, brother Daniel, brother Samuel, nephew Simon son of brother Josiah [apparently no children].

  3. Even with correct death year (the actual gravestone does read 1711/12), but age 54 would yield 1657-8, while 54th year would yield 1658-9. Based on siblings births and tendency to inflate age at death, birth about 1659 seems most likely. Wife, however, was born 1646 by age at death, which suggests maybe he was born early. Ferris shows him first. It is possible that he and sister Alice are swapped?
