  3. ↑ The Leonard Genealogy cited above gives her birth as 22 Mar 1746 (this could mean 22 Mar 1746/47 or, more likely, 1745/46). However in the Hingham records, the Silence Ripley born on 22 Mar 1745 here belongs to Charles and Deborah Ripley, so is a different Silence Ripley. It is Noah and Lydia, not Charles and Deborah, that are found in Rutland, and their daughter is baptized 6 Apr 1746. According to the History of Dublin, p. 708, her parents were married in Hingham and lived there until 1747 when they moved to Connecticut, and then to Barre in 1762. While 22 Mar 1745/46 would be a plausible birthdate for a baptism 6 Apr 1746, it is not thought to belong to this Silence Ripley.
