  2. ↑ There are no records of a marriage for Silence. Silence Parmenter is named as the mother of Edward Converse's children in their birth records. It is speculative to assume this is her, but based on her projected age being a very good match, and the relative rarity of her name, and no other disposition of Silence being known, it is probable she was Edward's wife, and subsequently, the second wife of John Weeks.
