"These are old geneological papers and at the side it says underlined "Descendants of Isaac Fox of East Haddam, Ct." by George Henry Fox M. D. of New York & from "Early Families of New London and Vicinity" by Col. Parkhurst. And that Silas Fox born Oct. 28, 1756 & died April 8, 1832 & was a Rev. War Vet. & I have his record of service as the DAR has it and he wed Mary Cheney [Mollie] Apr. 1789 and their children were Jane Fox, my 4greatgrandmother born April 28,1795 & died March 25, 1888 and she wed Daniel Patterson whose father Ansel Patterson, was in Rev. War but not proved in DAR."

Enlisted in the Continental Army Rev. War, Mar. 1777; discharged June 1783.

Living in Thornton, New Hampshire when married.

Possibly died in Vermont.
