Per Carolyn Davison: In the 1860 census, Silas and his family were living in dwelling #505 and owned land valued at $500 and personal property valued at $300.

According to documents executed for and by Silas and Sarah, both signed with a mark which indicated that neither could write. It is not known for sure that neither could read or not, but chances are they could not.

In the 1880 Census, Silas and Sally's last 6 children were listed.

John Davidson is listed as the witness on the marriage license application, Clay County, Kentucky Marriage Book I, p. 10.

The family could not be found in the 1900 census.

Land deed Clay County Kentucky, deed book D 1848-1856 John Davidson sold land to Silas and Robert Davidson, recorded on July 6th, 1854, signed John Davidson and Louisa.
