BAKER, Silas, son of Warren born near Stittville 1843. Married Martha Jepson 1885. No children. Enlisted in the 117th Reg. NY. State Vol. received honorable discharge at close of war. Was injured on Black River R.R. and rendered cripple for life. Died in 1905, buried in Townsend Cemetery.
