Came to Paterson, NJ from Holland

It is from Sijbrand that my great-grandfather Marinus Otte got his carpentry business; Sijbrand married Marinus' sister, Bertha May Otte; when Sijbrand moved to Holland Michigan, he gave Marinus his existing carpentry business. An interesting note is that Marinus' daughter-in-law, my grandmother Nellie Buis, had family that also married into the Sikkelee family. Great-great grandmother Jennie van Dijk Buis lived with her daughter and son-in-law from the Sikkelee (Sikkema) family for 30 years in Wayne NJ after her husband Aries died.
