"King, Shirley M. NEWCASTLE, Wyo. - Shirley M. King, 70, Newcastle, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Survivors include her husband, Lyle King, Newcastle; her son, Burl King, Broken Arrow, Okla.; her daughter, Audra Dudzinski, Newcastle; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Worden Chapel in Newcastle. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the Worden Chapel. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle."

"NEWCASTLE -- Funeral services for Shirley Mae King, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Worden Chapel with Pastor Mick Bohn of Newcastle Foursquare Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, September 18, 2008, at Worden Chapel She died on Sept. 13, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 12, 1928, in Iowa Falls, Iowa. She moved to Des Moines, Iowa with her family as a small child. She met Lyle King in 1960, they were married on Nov. 6, 1960, and the couple moved to Newcastle that same year where they have resided since. She enjoyed sewing and was an extremely talented seamstress. She also enjoyed creating quilts and baking. She enjoyed the outdoors and was often found in the mornings feeding the numerous turkeys that lived by her house. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandkids were the highlight of her life. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lyle King of Newcastle; son, Burl King of Broken Arrow, Okla.; daughter, Audra Dudzinski and husband of Newcastle; five grandchildren."
