Ms. Shirley C. King GREENSBORO - Ms. Shirley Coble King, 64, of 4733 Brompton Drive, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at her home. She was the wife of the late Mr. Robert J. King, and the daughter of Mrs.. Ruth Coble, who survives, and the late Mr. Winfred Coble. She was retired from AT&T and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Chapel. Survivors other than her mother of Whitsett include three sons, Mr. Rickey L. Mitchell of Browns Summit, Mr. D. Randy Mitchell of Apple Valley, Calif. and Mr. Gregory S. King of Liberty; one sister, Mrs.. Beverly Beasley of Elon College; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Deborah G. King. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Philadelphia Baptist Chapel. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel from 6 to 9 this evening. Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Chapel, 5515 Church St. Extension, Greensboro, N.C. 27455.
