This family data was originally from Harry H. Braught Mar.1993- Shirley deceased (Abt 1986); children Lorna Wilson, Debbie Wilson, Shawn Wilson, and (half-sister), and Maria Morse - all residing in CA. See Maria Jallen Morse Ioli data for details on her relation. Sylvia McAfee added Apr 93 that Shirley died in auto accident. Jan 94 from Traci Lockman added death date as Sep 1986 and site. and approx. marriage data. Shirley never did marry Larry Johannsen (see adoption data for Maria), and Maria was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Will Jallen. Shirley delivered Maria when she was 25 yrs and Johannsen was 26 yrs. Shirley Wilson already had three children, but was divorced ( 1965 ) at that time. Probably the father was married to another at the time? Adoption info. sheet says that natural father ( now known to be Larry Johannsen) was 6 ft 3 in tall and 200 lbs., black hair and blue eyes. Had a sister with diabetes. He was an apprentice printer of German descent. Most other data about him on that source was obviously secretive and evasive. Regardless, Maria made contact with him before 1996 (see Maria data) and they now have a very pleasant association. Maria provided data on him that is used here. Quite a girl, this Maria, and I hope there will be future contacts with her. San Joaquin Co., is just South of Sacramento Co., CA and there is some confusion regarding exactly where Shirley died. Ancestry.com CA Deaths 1940-97 lists her as Kristin Eames Schoenfeld, b. 3 Feb. 1941 in WA, daughter of mother Stults and father Braught; and died at SanJoaquin Co., CA 12 Nov 1986. SS# 557-80-9954. Obviously she had a marriage to a Wilson and died (in auto accident at age 45) as a Schoenfeld, but we also know of her partner Johannsen (above). I have not yet added her husband Schoenfeld until I know more about him from some reliable source. Incidentally, this Ancestry.com data is the first I knew of her Schoenfeld surname, but also of a given name of Kristin.
