  • In 1903 he was employed by Webster Poor, per draft card. He enlisted Sept. 3 1903 at Syracuse, and was discharged Sept 10 for defective eyesight.
  • 1930 he was laborer on dairy farm, living with father-in-law.
  • 1940 he was a farmer and mother in law and uncle in law were living with them.

    SHERIDAN BRESSET DEAD AT 59
    Heuvelton -- Sheridan A. Bresset, 52, died at his farm home on the Old DeKalb Road today at 9.a.m. (Oct 20, 1952),
    Born July 24 1893 in the town of DeKalb, Mr. Bresset was one son of the late Henry and Berth Fensrow Bressett. He attended DeKalb schools and on Apr. 14, 1930 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Reslley, DeKalb Junction, married the former Miss Clara Poor. The Rev. Allan G. Howering, Presbyterian pastor, officiated at the service. Since their marriage the couple have made their home on the Old DeKalb Rd.
    Surviving his death, besides the wife are one brother, Ernest Bresett, Hillsboro, N.Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Blance Bice, Heuvelton; Mrs. Clarence (Lottie) Campany, Lowville, Mrs. Max (Lenora) Maxson, Homer, and Mrs. Emma Mashord, Syracuse.
    Also survivng are a step-brother, Cyral Sallarruth, Antwerp; three step-sisters, Mrs. Jennie Chapman and Mrs. Earl McOugh both of Rochester, and Mrs. Marian Warner, Fairport, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Fox Funeral Home with the Rev. Allan Bowering, pastor at the Heuvelton Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Vinton Bowering pastor at the Rensselar Falls Congratational church officiating.
    Burial will be made in the family plot in Hillcrest Cemetery Heuvelton.
