Between 1915-1920, after the death of his 1st wife in 1911 and of his father in 1913, the family moved from DeKalb, Saint Lawrence County, to Rochester, Monroe County, New York. In 1900 he was a farmer; 1920 a lens grinder for an optical company, and 2 step daughters were living with them, Maud and Marion Fletcher. In 1930 he was a farm hand.

'Henry Bresette was called to Heuvelton last week to help care for his aged father, whose death occurred Saturday morning. The funeral is held today.' Source: Ogdensburg Journal, Tuesday, April 29, 1913, pg 2.
