SHELDON E. WARDWELL Special to The New York Times BOSTON, June 8-Sheldon E. Wardwell, senior partner in the law firm of Wardwell, Rammey & Allen,. died today in Deaconess Hospital. He was 79 years old. Mr. Wardwell specialized in legal work for public utilities and paper companies. After receiving a law, degree from Harvard in 1907, he served as secretary to Associate Justice William H. Moody of the Supreme Court. He was president of the New England Forestry Foundation and a former director of the Great Northern Paper and the Champion International Companies. He leaves his wife, Helen; a son, J. Otis, and three daughters, Mrs. Chauncey K. Hutchins, Mrs. James E. Simonds and Anne R. Wardwell. -New York Times 09 June 1961
