Sevilla (Albaugh) Tope, mother of Sheriff Donald Tope of Harrison County, died Friday at her home in Germano after a cerebral hemorrhage a short time ago. She was born June 30, 1871, in Carroll County, and moved to Germano in 1904. She was the widow of the late W. J. Tope.
She is survived by five children; Alva of New Rumley, James of Canton, Hardy of Germano, Donald of Cadiz, Mrs. Estella Warner of Germano. Services were held at Sweeney Funeral Home in Amsterdam with Rev. Ernest Trotter and the Rev. R. V. Chappin officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
