[Note: this may be copied from Source:Tobey, Rufus Babcock. Tobey, Tobie, Toby Genealogy, p. 57. It appears that the marriages, at best, may be in the wrong order, or at worse, and most probably, the second one is an error. According to the Tobey Genealogy, Betsy Sears was born in 1750 and was widow of Benjamin Howes when she married Seth as his second wife. But since alleged first wife Zipporah lived until 1815, well after Seth died, this is not possible.]
