Person:Seeley Finch (1)

Seeley Finch was the son of Ira Finch and Catharine VanSickle, who originally lived in New York and moved to Delaware County, Ohio before 1830. He married Maria W. Provost, daughter of Joseph and Nancy Eddy Provost on November 25, 1847. For most of their married life, they lived in Xenia, Ohio where Seeley worked as a cooper. In 1867, the family of seven moved to Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. On July 1, 1868, Seeley was fatally injured in a sawmill accident.
