... SARAH YALE, of Plas-yn-Yale, d. unm. 13 June, 1821, aged 67, and by her will, dated 7 Nov. 1818, Plas-yn-Yale was entailed (with subsequent limitations in favour of Rev. John Parry Jones-Parry, and of members of the families of LLOYD of Gwerclas and GRIFFITH of Garn) on William Parry Jones-Parry, younger son of Thomas Parry Jones-Parry, Esq. of Llwyn Onn and Madryn, who, in compliance with Miss Yale's will, assumed the name and arms of YALE. At Miss Yale's death, the representation of the family of Yale, of Plas-yn-Yale, devolved on RICHARD HUGHES LLOYD, Esq. of Plymog, Gwerclas, and Bashall, but the estate passed, as just stated to
WILLIAM PARRY YALE, Esq. of Plas-yn-Yale, J.P. and D.L., Lieut-Col. in the Army. This gentleman, 4th son of Thomas Parry Jones-Parry, Esq. of Llwyn onn, substituted, by Miss Yale's testamentary direction, the name and arms of YALE for those of Jones-Parry. Col. Yale served the office of High Sheriff for that co. He m. Eliza Flora, dau. of John Saunderson, Esq., but d.s.p. 6 June, 1867, and was s. by his nephew, the present WILLIAM CORSET YALE, Esq. of Plas-yn-Yale.
