Sarah Walby was baptised at the end of January 1676 at Aston in Hertfordshire, daughter of Sarah Walby, formerly Skeg, and her husband George Walby. Sarah was the eldest of the couple's four children. In 1694, when Sarah was eighteen years old, her father died.

Sarah was still alive in October 1700, when her mother wrote her will, in which Sarah was left £10. She has yet to be traced after 1700.
