Sarah is often confused in genealogies with Sarah Colton who married Samuel Graves Sr. or Sarah Brewer (Bruer) who married Samuel Graves of Lynn.

   [Note: this source shows Sarah Colton married to both Samuel Graves, Senior b. 1655 (p. 18) and Junior b. 1657 (p. 21), both references using the same marriage date in 1678. Since the marriage is 1678, and Samuel Sr. has his first child 1681 while Samuel Jr. has his first child 1687, it appears Sarah Colton married Samuel Graves Sr., and the wife of Samuel Jr. has an unknown maiden name.]
