Sarah Graves daughter of Samuell & Sarah Graves was born first of Janry [16]87.
[Note: Various transcriptions misinterpret first as fifth because the colonial S looks like a modern F but there is clearly an R before it, so it is first. The month is written with a superscripted R and then the y appears more or less on the baseline. So people unfamiliar with colonial abbreviations, i.e., Jan'ry, interpret the superscript R as an L and think this is July, but besides knowing the abbreviation habits, the Jan seems clear enough to say it isn't.]
