Death of Mrs. Sarah B. Stoddard
Mrs. Sarah B. Stoddard, widow of the late S. O. Stoddard, passed away at her home In Copenhagen Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Stoddard was the daughter of Jerome and Eliza Twltchell and was born in the village of Copenhagen 75 years ago. About 30 years ago she was married to S. O. Stoddard, whose death occurred about ten years ago. Mrs. Stoddard has been a great sufferer for many weeks and has been tenderly cared for by Mr. Stoddard's children, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stoddard and Mrs. Victor Wood.
The funeral service was held from the Congregatlonal church Tuesday afternoon, and was under the direction of the local Rebekah Lodge, of which Mrs. Stoddard was a loyal member. She leaves one brother, A. S. Twitchell, and several nieces and nephews. Burial was made beside her husband in Riverside cemetery.
