Sarah Ellen Overton, “widowed” wife of Thomas Overton, died of lobar pneumonia. The informant was Mrs. B. Laurence of the same address. It was recorded that Sarah was the daughter of Sol Shutler (born in Ohio), she was retired, and she had been residing in Akron for 30 years.

A marriage license was issued 22 June 1907 in Summit co., Ohio, to Thomas Overton (occ. brick maker) from “near” Canal Fulton, (Stark co.,) Ohio, and Ellen Rosenbery (occ. dressmaker) of Akron, Ohio. It was stated that both of them were previously married once, and Ellen was a divorced woman. They were married the same day by Rev. F. W. Luce.
