- ↑ Sarah is named as wife of Ebenezer Ash in her father's 1805 will, mentioning her last, so suggesting she is the youngest daughter. But few records have been located. Source:Kellogg, Lucy Cutler. History of the Town of Bernardston, Franklin County, Massachusetts, with Genealogies, p. 490, simply says "Sarah m. Ebenezer Ash". Based on 1830 census, Ebenezer Ash's wife is 50 to 60, so born 1770 to 1780, and 1800 census appears to show two young children, suggesting they might have married about 1795.
