  2. Not mentioned in will of husband dated 15 Mar 1805. Find A Grave says she d. 8 Mar 1805 but has no gravestone image and cites no source. While her husband's death is recorded in Bernardston's records, hers does not seem to be. Neither is it listed in Source:Kellogg, Lucy Cutler. History of the Town of Bernardston, Franklin County, Massachusetts, with Genealogies (p. 489), nor Source:Sheldon, George. History of Deerfield, Massachusetts (p. 58 or 297). Since Amasa's death date is 8 Mar 1808, it is believed the Find A Grave date is probably an error where his death date has been mangled to fit what is known about her. This is supported by the observation that in the 1800 census there is no woman in the household over 45 (Sarah would have been 62).
