    Son John Shapleigh-all my land which I possess in Maryland and Virginia to him and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten. But If he should die without lawfully issue the plantation whereon live and six hundred and forty eight acres of land to my daughter Hannah Shapleigh, and the heirs of he body lawfully begotten, an the plantation called the quarter and five hundred acres of land to my daughter Judith Neale, and the heirs of her body lawfully begotten.
    Daughter Hannah Shapleigh-negro called little Tom,
    Daughter Judith Neale-ten thousand pounds of tobacco to be paid within two years after my decease by my executors, four cows and calves, two stears of five years old, ten ewes and lambs, one feather bed and furniture, one rugg, a pair of blankets and a bolster
    Daughter Sarah Shapleigh-for her relief and support during her natural life, one negro man named Robin, and a young negro about fifteen or twenty years old to he purchased for her use during her natural life and at her decease the said negroes to go to my son John Shapleigh.
    Daughter Hannah Shapleigh-a young negro girl age fifteen to twenty, years old to be purchased by my executors, to her and her heirs.
    Grandaughter Elizabeth Shapleigh-one bay mare branded with PS.
    Rest of my negroes to be equally divided between my wife Hannah Shapleigh, my son John Shapleigh, my daughter Hannah Shapleigh and my daughter Sarah Shapleigh, to them and their heirs forever.
    Hannah Shapleigh-to live upon my now dwelling plantation during her single life, and my daughter Sarah Shapleigh to remain with her mother, and her brother, and sister Hannah Shapleigh.
