AGED RESIDENT IS CALLED TO BEYOND- Mrs. Sarah A. Harvey dies as result of two weeks' illness.

         LONG LIFE IN COUNTY

Came West When a Small Girl--Funeral at Christian Church Wednesday Afternoon at 2 o'clock.

              d. 12-14-1914
In the death of Mrs. Sarah A. Harvey, who died Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Evaline Ridgway on North Main street, following an illness of two weeks, Henry county has lost another pioneer. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy two weeks ago and fell and since that time had been failing.
Mrs. Harvey had lived her entire life in Henry county, coming to this county with her parents from West Virginia when but a small child. She was married fifty-nine years ago, to Nathan Harvey and for years lived with her husband on the Harvey homestead on Blue river, four miles north of Newcastle.
Fourteen years ago they leased the farm to a tenant and moved to this city where they lived countinuously except during the winter months which they spent in the south. Nathan Harvey, husband of the deceased is still living at the ripe age of 84 years. If Mrs. Harvey had lived until next October she and her husband would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
         FUNERAL WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Harvey was 78 years of age. Following her death the body was removed to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Clawson, 911 West Broad street, where friends may view the remains. In addition to the daughter, two sons survive. They are Elmer E., of Missoula, Montana, and James A. Harvey, manager of the Terre Haute Star.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church in this city. Rev. W. R. Motley, former pastor of the church and Rev. Baker will have charge of the services. Interment will be at Southmound.
