Sara Richardson Huie died June 19, 2011 Sara Richardson Huie, 87, of Calhoun died at 4:08 a.m., Sunday, June 19, in Gordon Hospital.

She was born, December 27, 1924 in Jackson County, daughter of Lewis A. Richardson and Maude McDonald Richardson.

She is survived by one son, Ralph Huie of Calhoun; five grandchildren, Laura, Richard and Jennifer Huie all of Calhoun, Bree Collins of Acworth and Erin Mizell of Athens; three great grandchildren, Sara and James Collins and Brayon Huie; one brother, Melvin Richardson of Lawrenceville; nieces and nephews.
