Their children were: Evelyn Byrd Page Nelson who married Robert Carter of Columbus, Ga.; Hon. John P. Nelson, a member of the Stated Congress from Georgia. , who married Eliza Hern and died leaving no male issue; Capt. William Nelson, C. S. A., of "Linden" in, Clarke Co., who married Mary A. Page and had issue; Maria B. Nelson, who married William G. Woolfolk of Columbus, Ga., and had issue; Rosalie Nelson, who married Dr. F. 0. Ticknor Columbus, Ga., and had issue, and Col. Thomas M. Nelson, Jr., C. S. A., who married Fannie Tift, of Albany, Ga. , and had issue,

Sarah Walker Page Nelson died in 1835 The exact the place of burial known. It is presumed she died at "Oak Hill" and was buried there.
