Mrs.. Sarah Elizabeth Murray Sipe SNOW CAMP — Mrs.. Sarah Elizabeth Murray Sipe, 79, of 7374 N.C. 49 South, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Duke University Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Paul Eugene Sipe Sr. and the daughter of the late Jacob “JC” Clarence Murray and Maude Erma Fogleman Murray, who survives. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed by Bell’s Department Store, Byrd’s Food Store and Hardee’s on Alamance Road. She was a volunteer for the health room at E.M. Holt Elementary School and a personal nannie for Brandon Bell during his childhood. She was a member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church and a former member of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Snow Camp Garden Club. Survivors other than her mother of Snow Camp include four daughters, Ms. Sandra Cheek and Ms. Hilda Stutts, both of Snow Camp, Mrs.. Glenda Smith of Graham, and Miss Susan Sipe of the home; three sons, Buddy Sipe of Burlington, Bobby and wife Beth Sipe of Liberty, and Billy and wife Paige Sipe of Elon; a sister, Mrs.. Nan Bremerman of Jacksonville; and 10 grandchildren, Kim, Jacob, Denise, Elizabeth, Justin, Caroline, Holly, Will, Sarah and Zachary. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rock Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. Donald Gum and the Rev. Alvin Horne. Burial will be in Rock Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. in Burlington. Mrs.. Sipe will remain at the funeral home until being placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. At other times, they will be at the daughter’s home, Sandra Cheek, 6360 Beale Road, Snow Camp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rock Creek United Methodist Church Building Fund, 7315 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Snow Camp, N.C. 27349.
