              Mrs. Harry W. Geer

Mrs. Lavira S. Geer, 81, formerly of 207 W. Manchester st., a resident here 54 years, died shortly before noon on Tuesday at the Calhoun County Hospital where she had been a patient for three years. She was a native of LaGrange, Ind. Her first husband, Garret Youngs, died in 1923. Surviving from this marriage are a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Sitter of 73 Clark St.; four grandchildren who include Mrs. Forrest (Margaret) Cooper of 34 S. Burdge St., who was raised by Mrs. Geer; three great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Geer was married in 1925 to Harry W. Geer, who died in 1952.
