1851 - Sarah and two daughters were residing with Sarah's parents at the Garden House, Norwich (St Benedict). Although she was recorded as being married, no record has been found for George on this census, nor for their son Joseph.

1871 - Recorded as a widow, with daughter, father and brother at Ebenezer Row, Staveley, Derbyshire. Dressmaker, aged 46, born at Norwich, Norfolk.

1881 - With father, brother and grandson Charles E. HOCKLY, aged 4, born at Staveley) at Porters St, Staveley, Derbyshire. Aged 61, born at Topham [sic], Norfolk.
