  4. Sarah is found in the census but has the appearance of being an adopted daughter, born two decades after the marriage at the waning fringe of childbearing years of a childless couple. She married 1867 Francis Donohue, but by 1870 is back living with her parents, using her maiden name. In 1870 (line 9) and 1880 (line 14) the census shows Francis is in state prison. No trace of Sarah after 1870 has been found.
