Sarah Jeeves was born on 29th January 1741 and baptised three weeks later at Hitchin in Hertfordshire. She was the daughter of Ann Jeeves, formerly Phipps, and her husband Michael Jeeves, a baker. Sadly she died as a child of just two years old, being buried on 28th April 1743.
