17 Jul 1757: Seth Hudson of Petersham husbandman for £26-13-0 conveys to Joell Grout of Petersham husbandman land in northeasterly Petersham containing 40 acres, bounded easterly by Lands of Seth Hudson.
[Note: since Morse doesn't name the parents and gets the birthdate a little wrong, proof of parentage is not clear (though d/o Seth is most likely candidate). Seth's death location is not known and no probate has been found to provide a connection. This deed isn't conclusive since it has no explicit specification of any relationship, but strong support, given that it places Seth in Petersham where the marriage occurred about a year before this deed. A Find A Grave memorial agrees, but with no sources cited and no gravestone pictured, its credibility is at the conjecture level at best.]
