The baptism of Sarah Howard or Heward who married Jonathan Beardsell has been difficult to find. Her age on censuses consistently points to someone born in 1810 in Holmfirth, but the one baptism that fits is only found in England & Wales, Christening Index, 1530-1980, a fairly undocumented collection published by the Genealogical Society of Utah in 2002. The only other baptism that is close both in time and place is provided as an alternate christening. For this reason there is no link to her parents.
