some sources list her as the daughter of Leonard & Esther (Bowman) Hoar. Others as the daughter of Daniel Hoar and Sarah Jones.

Concord Town records show no birth of a Sarah Hoar to Leonard and Esther. They do show the following:

"Dan'l Hoar & Sarah Jones, both of Concord, were marryed by ye reverand Joseph Estabrooke December ye 20th 1705" 

" Sarah Hoar ye daughter of Danil Hoar and Sarah his wife was born 3 September 1710"
