1935: Death Notice

Livingston Enterprise, 6 Dec 1935 - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah H Carmack, 75, wife of Ridley Carmack of the 3rd district of Overton County, who died at her home near Camp Ground on Thursday, November 28 at 4:00 p.m. of paralysis, were conducted at the Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Saturday by Rev S Dewey Organ, pastor of the M E Church, with burial in the cemetery there. Mrs. Carmack had been in failing health for several months. On last Saturday she was stricken with paralysis, which was followed shortly by another stroke. Besides her husband she is survived by ten children as follows: five daughters, Mrs. Ras Phillips of Hooker, Okla; Mrs. Ed Sullivan, Mrs. Floyd Davis, Mrs. Barlow Smith and Mrs. Pate Myers, and five sons, Lee, Amos, Charlie, Stanley and Haskell. She was born and reared and lived all of her life in the community of her death.
